Despite a lot of money being invested into examining the treatments, chronic degenerative diseases such as multiple sclerosis, cancer, and arthritis have become increasingly popular worldwide. Nearly a hundred years ago, a doctor and scientist made a shocking discovery about a dental procedure known as the root canal.
What Is a Root Canal?
Approximately 40,000 Americans receive root canal procedures on a daily basis. In fact, a root-canaled tooth may become an ideal environment for harmful bacteria, which can leak into the bloodstream later.
The bad news is that although they are toxic, these teeth could seem quite normal. That’s why this problem is difficult to trace back to its source.
Nearly a hundred years ago, Weston Price warned of the health risks of root canal treatments.
He traveled all over the world to study the teeth, diets, and bones of native populations that did not eat the “modern” foods. In 1900, he was curing recurring root canal infections, and found out that the root-canaled teeth infections weren’t treated, regardless of the treatments.
Namely, a wheelchair bound woman who suffered from arthritis visited Dr. Price. He recommended removing her root canal, although it seemed to be healthy and normal.
After her tooth was removed, she started recovering from arthritis, and started walking again. Dr. Price attached the removed root-canaled tooth under a rabbit’s skin. The rabbit also developed arthritis and died due to infection about ten days later.
That’s why Dr. Price concluded that a root-canaled tooth was almost impossible to be sterilized. He also found that root-canaled teeth could be the main culprit of various chronic diseases, with sixteen primary bacteria contributing to most of circulatory and heart diseases. Plus, root-canaled teeth were also associated with nervous system, joint and brain diseases.
Although in 1922, Dr. Price wrote 2 books on the subject, he was ignored. However, many years later, Dr. George Meinig took a renewed interest in the research of Dr. Price. Dr. Meinig actually spent eighteen months proving the validity of the work of Dr. Price.
Most Dentists Might Not Completely Understand the Tooth Anatomy:
It fact, teeth are made of the hardest substance in the human body. Moreover, the middle of the tooth has a quite soft inner structure that includes nerves and blood vessels. The tooth roots are held in place by a ligament and connected to the jawbone. The teeth have a complex network of micro-canals that could become a perfect environment for harmful bacteria after performing a root canal procedure.
That’s why it is the underlying cause of various chronic conditions. Furthermore, the bacteria can start changing their shape, thus creating toxic substances. That’s not all, any sterilization may not reach these networks of micro-canals, which means each root-canaled tooth is prone to infection.
Also, the bacteria may move into the jawbone itself and produce dead tissue pockets or cavitations. Additionally, the Weston Price Foundation notes that only 2 of about five thousand surgical cavitation cleanings were treated.
Brain, bone, kidney and heart disease could also be associated with root canal procedures. If you have a healthy immune system, then it may get rid of these harmful bacteria. However, in case an illness or an accident weakens your immune system, then these pockets of harmful bacteria may start infecting your bloodstream. Then, your bloodstream may transport them to any tissue in your body.
According to the work of Dr. Price, any disease can be effectively transferred by implanting parts of a root-canaled tooth into a rabbit. Many chronic degenerative diseases have been associated with root canal procedures, like autoimmune diseases, neurological diseases, rheumatism, arthritis, kidney disease, and heart disease.
What’s more, Dr. Robert Jones found a correlation between breast cancer and root canals. In a 5-year study, Dr. Jones concluded that nearly 93 percent of breast cancer sufferers had root canals. Also, the other seven percent had other oral pathologies, whose tumors occurred on the same side of their body as the oral pathology or root canal. This means that toxins from the infected root canals resulted in the development of tumor by inhibiting vital proteins.
In addition, the Toxic Element Research Foundation found that bacterial contamination in each sample of root-canaled teeth that was tested, including harmful bacteria, like porphyromonasgingivalis, leptotrichiabbucalis, gemellamorbillorum, fusobacteriumnucleatum, and capnocytophagachracea, were implicated in sinus, brain, kidney, nervous system and heart diseases. That’s not all, more bacteria were found in the blood surrounding the root-canaled tooth, meaning that the tooth could act as a perfect environment for bacteria and infection, whereas the periodontal ligament could nourish the deadly bacteria.
Why Do Dentists Keep Denying Dr. Price’s Findings and Research?
It is a well-known fact that there is not any other medical procedure that can leave a dead part of your body inside of you. Otherwise, your immune system will try to fight the accumulation of viruses and bacteria in the dead tissues.
But, why do dentists keep denying Dr. Price’s findings and research? Perhaps root canals are some of the most profitable dental procedures, accounting for a large portion of the incomes of dentists in the U.S.
Fortunately, there are many other safer alternatives to root canal procedures or having a tooth extracted, such as an implant (the most expensive, but the most attractive option); a partial denture (the least expensive and the simplest option); or a bridge (more expensive, but more permanent option.)
You should have the infected tooth, a part of the bony tooth socket and the periodontal ligament extracted in order to protect yourself from a potentially deadly accumulation of bacteria. Keep in mind that biological dentists are the best option for this, because they are better-trained in tooth extraction compared to standard dentists.
