Scientists are now trying to explore the potential use of saltwater as energy source. Recently, a German company Quant introduced a sport car that runs entirely on saltwater called Quant e-Sportlimousine. And when it needs to refuel, all it needs is saltwater from the sea or a solution from salt and water.
Saltwater energy has an unlimited potential and sources and all that it needs is to be harness and use its full potential for the good of mankind. And there are people who can use or demonstrate saltwater energy right in their own home with just simple materials. This demonstration showed us that great minds focused on the wrong energy source to develop than the eco-friendly one.
Materials needed: an aluminium can, a thin copper plate, two spacers of rubber, a motor of 2-3 volts “cd rom motor”. 1 liter of water with 2-3 tablespoons of salt. The duration of the time of rotation of the motor is over 7 minutes.
When the battery runs out of its charge shall be filled again with water and salt, but you can also opt charging it with an external battery, 1.5 volts – 3 volts for 3 -5 minutes.
To secure the success of this experiment, it is necessary to have a motor that has a low power consumption 15-20 mA max. and a voltage of 2-3 volts. It ‘not recommended to use all kinds of motors for toys.
